A big thank you for making our BIBA run like clockwork

It was another successful BIBA for us, with 93% of our surveyed brokers rating their overall NIG BIBA 2019 experience as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ (1). The conference is always a fantastic opportunity to make new contacts, strengthen existing relationships, and hear about the latest developments in the marketplace.

This year BIBA coincided with Mental Health Week, so it was apt to hear inspiring talks on the subject from the likes of ex-England all-round cricketer Freddie Flintoff and rapper and documentary filmmaker, Professor Green. The event was bookended by keynotes from Baroness Manningham-Buller, former head of MI5, and the Rt Hon Boris Johnson, MP.

Insurance that runs like clockwork

Our stand was front and centre (for all to see as they entered the exhibition hall) and continued to reflect our message of being ‘effortless’ to trade with. We encapsulated this through the theme of “insurance that runs like clockwork” and highlighted some of the improvements we’ve made over the past year including:

  • Dedicated contacts and clear communication
  • Flexible trading models to suit your needs and objectives
  • eTrade: better value products, enhanced cover options and reduced referrals
  • National coverage and local expertise through eight regional UK offices
  • A national sales force and Executive that invest in building relationships

Five Star eTrading

Our progress towards ‘effortless’ was reinforced by a fantastic achievement in the Insurance Times eTrading survey. The results were published on the first day of BIBA, revealing that NIG achieved Five Star ratings for both Software House Trading and TheHub.

Good conversations

We hosted engaging and productive broker meetings throughout the conference and were really pleased to see how busy and vibrant the stand was! It was also great to hear such positive feedback about the progress we’re making in our journey towards ‘effortless’.
