RSA Insurance today announced the appointment of Sonya Bryson as Commercial Lines Managing Director, effective from 01 May 2024 and subject to regulatory approval.

Reporting to Ken Norgrove, CEO UK & International, Sonya will have full responsibility for the strategy, P&L and performance of RSA’s commercial lines business in the UK, (including NIG & FarmWeb). Lee Mooney will leave the business after an orderly transition.

Sonya joins RSA from Direct Line Group where she was Commercial Managing Director and Managing Director NIG. Sonya has held a number of senior leadership roles, having always worked within the commercial insurance market.
