NIG First Club finalists for Training in Excellence Award

NIG First Club is proud to announce that the NIG Academy has been recognised for the quality of training we have offered by being nominated as a finalist in the “Training in Excellence” category at the Insurance Times Awards 2017. This demonstrates all the hard work and commitment given to launching this programme as well as the positive Broker feedback it has generated.

The NIG Academy was proudly launched in April 2017 to further enhance our First proposition. This came on the back of broker feedback which highlighted a need for a flexible training model which offered technical product training, support for professional training, and bespoke training to meet the needs of the brokers trying to grow their business in an ever challenging environment.

Suz Diemer, Proposition Manager for First, said ‘First has always been very important to us as they are the very much the heartland of NIG.  We continue to invest in our relationship with these key brokers as we see them as our Strategic Partners where their success is our success, and therefore we are constantly looking for ways we can best support their business growth. The NIG Academy is proving to be a great asset with some amazing feedback coming back from the First brokers who have taken part.’

On that note here is some of the feedback we’ve had for the NIG Academy …

Andy Goodson, Sales & Marketing Director of Lexham Insurance, who we organised Bespoke Training for, “We approached NIG as a First Club member to support us with bespoke product training for Motor Trade, specifically for our Account Executives to attend in house. NIG were able to make this happen, from understanding our needs and discussing what works best for us.”

Liam Botten, Head of Learning Development at Saffron Insurance, regarding the Product Training, “The Product training was so beneficial for our employees at Saffron and NIG were brilliant and so efficient when arranging for my staff to attend.”

Raisa Hainin, Account Executive at SME insure 360, who attended the Cert CII training, “It is useful and informative, going in depth into each aspect of insurance, and I love the way NIG have accommodated me doing my learning remotely”

With such positive feedback coming from our First Brokers we have our fingers firmly crossed for December when the winner will be announced. Wish us luck!
