We’re thrilled and very proud to have won ‘Best Insurer Extranet’ for TheHub at the Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Awards 2020.
In the midst of a global pandemic, the 2020 winners were revealed in a special virtual ceremony, hosted once again by comedian and writer Ivo Graham. The event celebrates those outstanding initiatives, individuals and teams embracing emerging opportunities, and leading the charge for a better customer experience in a fast-changing industry.
The judges said…
We were up against some impressive entries in the category, and the judges said of NIG and TheHub, “A stand-out performance in this year’s Insurance Times eTrading survey saw NIG achieve five stars for an impressive second consecutive year. A fantastic presentation highlighted current eTrading capabilities, achievements and future innovations that will benefit the broker customer”.
The judges went on to say “We were particularly impressed that feedback from brokers and interactions with broking agents had resulted in direct changes that reduced the response time to referrals, improved the journey, and implemented value-added services”.
Improvements big and small
Some of TheHub’s notable improvements since the 2019 awards include:
- Time-saving features that enable easier uploads, reviews of cover, and quicker completions of Property Owners and Mini Fleet quotes
- Lead optimisation for Business Package to help brokers win more business
- Faster decision-making due to increased quotability, fewer referrals, and more authority for underwriters
- More know-how through investment in the team’s expertise and knowledge
- Better communications including an improved Live Chat service
The four Ps
It’s great to see our investment in improving our eTrading platform, products, processes and people recognised by the industry. It builds on our position as the only insurer ever to be awarded five stars for TheHub and Software Houses for two years running by Insurance Times.
