RSA and NIG / FarmWeb announces new Commercial Lines leadership team

RSA Insurance announced a number of changes to its Commercial Lines leadership team. The new team will lead the combined business and will report to Sonya Bryson, who was recently appointed as the RSA Commercial Lines Managing Director.

The Commercial Lines leadership team will comprise the following:

  • Steve Scott, currently Director of Broker Markets at NIG becomes Regional Director responsible for mid-market and regionally-traded business.
  • Steve Hedge, remains as Delegated Director responsible for schemes and delegated business.
  • Tovah Grosscurth, currently Personal Lines Strategy and Performance Director becomes Commercial Lines Digital Director responsible for SME and eTrade business.
  • David Enoch, currently Head of Strategic Broker Relationships, Marketing and Propositions at NIG becomes Distribution and Proposition Director responsible for strategic partners, sales and marketing.
  • Rob Flynn, currently SME Director becomes Commercial Lines Chief Transformation Director responsible for transformation and tech enablement, plus leveraging data to drive performance.

The changes take effect 1st May 2024, and our new leadership model begins to bring the best parts of RSA, NIG and FarmWeb together, starting to create a business that is greater than the sum of its parts. Practically speaking, whilst we remain in the early phases of our integration and at least for the rest of 2024, you will continue to interact with the two organisations of RSA and NIG / FarmWeb, led by the new leadership team.  For the most part, your day-to-day contacts will stay the same, and our trading and underwriting teams on both sides will remain focused on providing you with great service.  Whilst some of the leaders heading up the relationships are changing, we’ll introduce them to you as soon as possible and will be spending time with you over the coming months to talk about how we bring our strategy to life.

We’re excited about leveraging the agility of NIG and FarmWeb with the technical underwriting strength of RSA to give you the very best overall proposition, products, and services for your customers.

We’ll keep you updated on the integration and any further changes via our regular Source newsletter and your interactions with our teams. If you have any immediate questions, please speak to your usual NIG contact or check our Integration Q&A page.
