2017 is almost over and no doubt our brokers, like NIG are reflecting both on the year past and the year yet to come. Our market place is evolving against a backdrop of ever increasing customer experience expectation, innovation and working together is more important than ever to meet the new reality.
NIG believes that relationships with our brokers are key to this, only by working in partnership can we maintain the understanding and trust needed for continuing successful relationships. During 2017 NIG has been investing in its people through training and high quality new hires that will enable us to deliver outstanding service support to brokers in 2018. But service is only part of the story.
UK enterprises are evolving and new enterprises need different things. NIG is very much focussed on product and propositions development to fulfil those needs and working closely with brokers is crucial to achieving this. It’s not just UK enterprises that are changing however, the regulatory landscape in the shape of the Insurance Distribution Directive and EU GDPR will be a key focus for our brokers, and therefore NIG, in 2018.
So there is much to keep us busy in 2018 and the whole NIG team and l look forward to the challenges it will bring and to working with our broker community to deliver in these interesting times.
